The name of this app could be argued that it is legally correct. However, the name is misleading. This app is, indeed, timed. There is no visual timer that displays numbers in relation to minutes or seconds. If you choose to install, pay attention to the visual timer at the top in the form of the decreasing green bar and disappearing stars. When a level is completed and results in less than three stars, the prompts even mention time.

Game was fun starting off. but yes, technically there IS a timer. No it is not based on the amount of moves. The moment you touch the screen it starts. 5 second adds don't bother me too much, but when I got to level 226 its clear to see the level is not possible without the use of an item. others claimed to have noticed it on 224, I must have had a rocket or something on that level that let me finish it. But that type of misleading nonsense doesn't sit well with me. I'd pass on this one.

it's only untimed if you pay to remove the timer (about $10) which was worth it for me. So far, almost all are really good puzzle levels. you have the option of using a life to redo a level to get up to 3 stars or watching an add to redo a puzzle with extra help. That mechanic works well to reward speed while allowing for slow puzzle solving. note that level 226 is broken (can't be solved without using extra tools).
