About this game

Block Party is a warm, cheerful brick-breaker built out of wooden toy blocks. A wooden paddle rests at the bottom of the screen and you drag one finger to slide it left and right, bouncing a bouncy ball up into a wall of colourful toy blocks. Smash every block on the level to clear it. Ten levels, each a bigger, busier tower than the last.

ONE FINGER, THAT'S IT

Touch anywhere, drag, release. The paddle follows your finger; tap to launch the ball. No virtual stick, no buttons, no fuss. You can clear a level one-handed on a crowded bus.

A WALL OF TOY BLOCKS

Every level is a layout of wooden blocks -- red, blue, green and yellow, each stamped with a little shape. Soft blocks pop on a single hit; stone and iron blocks take two or three, cracking and chipping before they finally break. Bank shots, edge bounces, lucky ricochets -- it is all in your hands.

CONTROL THE BOUNCE

Hit the ball with the edge of the paddle to send it sideways, or the centre to send it straight up. Master the angle to reach the trickiest blocks tucked in the corners and clear the level faster.

SPARE BALLS

You start each level with a few spare balls, shown at the top. Let one slip past the paddle and you lose it. Run out and the level ends -- one tap restarts it instantly.

TEN LEVELS

Level 01 is a gentle three-row tower. Level 10 is a packed wall of blocks with barely a gap. Block layout, ball speed and paddle width are hand-tuned for every level, so each one feels fresh. Clear a level to unlock the next; the playroom remembers your cleared levels and best scores.

HIGH SCORES

A dedicated stats screen tracks your games: total plays, blocks smashed, paddle bounces, levels cleared, and a best-score bar for every level. Beat your own records -- the board keeps them all.

HOW TO PLAY, BUILT IN

A clean six-step illustrated guide sits one tap from the title screen. Hand the phone to anyone and they will be smashing blocks in ten seconds.

SHORT LEVELS, HAPPY FUN

A level takes a minute or two. Pause any time; resume, restart, or quit to the menu from the same panel. Made for the gap between two stops.

PRIVACY

Block Party keeps everything on your device. No sign-in, no cloud, no analytics, no ad SDK. Progress lives in local storage only; uninstall the app and it is gone. The release build requests no network permission at all.
