Block Crisp is a block puzzle with something the genre usually leaves out: a ranked ladder 🏆, and matches you actually race 🏁.
⏱️ NINETY SECONDS. ONE WINNER. 👑
⚔️ A duel sets a recorded run beside yours and starts the clock ⏳. You both draw from the same bag 🎒, the same pieces, in the same order, so nothing separates you but how you play them. Their board sits on your screen for the whole match 📱, filling up as it happens. Run out of room and it costs you score, then fresh pieces come and you play on 🔄; when the ninety seconds are up, the higher score wins 🥇.
🚫 No powers, no skills, nothing you bought. A ranked match is the plain game for both sides ⚖️, and the better player takes it 💪.
📊 ONE BOARD OF A THOUSAND
Every duel moves you on it 🪜. A win pays points 📈, a defeat costs none 🛡️, and how wide you won by counts as well. Win three in a row and every win after pays half as much again 🔥. You are matched against players sitting near your own place 👥, and leaving a match early counts as a loss ❌. The standings open where you stand, so the question is answered the moment you look 👁️: not which shelf you are on, but where you are 📍.
🗓️ Every Monday the season ends and everybody starts again at zero 🔄, which means a place on that board says this week rather than how long you have been here.

Clear on consecutive moves and the chain builds ⚡, multiplying what every line is worth 🔥; miss too many moves in a row and it slips back down 📉. 🎓 The first time you open it, a short tutorial walks you through the board and the powers.
