About this game

Gridwood is a calm, endlessly addictive block puzzle about fitting shapes onto a grid and clearing lines to keep space open. Drag the pieces you're given onto the board, complete full rows or columns to clear them, and keep the board breathing for as long as you can.

It's simple to pick up and surprisingly deep to master. Each turn hands you a few block shapes, and you place them anywhere they fit on the grid — no gravity, no rush. Fill a complete row or column and it clears, freeing up space and scoring you points; chain multiple clears at once for bonus points and satisfying combos. The catch is space management: pieces keep coming, and when none of them fit anymore, the game ends — so every placement is a small puzzle of planning ahead and keeping your options open. A saved high score gives you something to chase, and the no-timer, think-as-long-as-you-like pace makes it perfect for unwinding.
