About this app

BlueArc MMS is the field app for inspectors and technicians whose organisation runs its equipment inspections and maintenance on BlueArc MMS. You sign in with the account your organisation gives you; there is no public sign up.

YOUR JOBS
• My Jobs lists the jobs assigned to you.
• Open a job to see the people and assets on it, start it, put it on hold with a reason, and complete it when the work is done.

INSPECTIONS ON THE PHONE
• Complete your organisation's inspection forms on the job.
• Readings are checked against their limits as you type, so an out of range figure is flagged before you submit.
• Attach photos from the camera or your photo library to the job or to an answer.
• Sign the form on the screen.
• Forms with repeated sections, such as one section per hook, let you add each copy you need.
• Read back an inspection you have submitted, answers and photos included. It is read only; corrections go through your office.

REFERENCE WITH NO SIGNAL
• Each job carries its reference material: the equipment's standards and clauses, its documents, the previous completed inspection and its open defects.
• It is saved with the job, so it reads in a basement or on a remote site.

TIME, MATERIALS AND NOTES
• Record your time and labour and the materials used on the job, and correct a record you have already sent.
• Post notes to the job for the office.

WORKS OFFLINE
• Everything you record is kept on the phone and sent when a signal returns.
• The Sync tab shows what is waiting, and anything the server could not accept is named, not hidden.

SETTINGS
• Choose which notices you receive for each organisation you work in. Compliance notices (certificate expiry, compliance failure, defects raised and equipment out of service) are always sent.
• See what the phone holds and clear it.
• Reset a forgotten password by email.
• Ask for your account to be deleted.

PRIVACY
The app does not collect your location, does not record audio or video, and contains no advertising or analytics. Your sign in is kept in the phone's secure storage, and signing out clears the phone. Our privacy policy says what is collected, where it goes and how account deletion works.

What’s new

Pick several photos from your gallery at once. Managers named on a draft job can start it from the app. Signing in is easier with the keyboard open. Your saved work on the phone is now encrypted, and sign in has an added security check.
