BlueHelm is one clean app for the whole day on the water — plan the trip, watch the weather, run the route, swing safe at anchor, and get home.

WATER-SMART ROUTING
Pick a destination and BlueHelm plans the course a boater would actually run, using depth and channel data from NOAA charts — down the channel, out the mouth, around the headland. Add a stop mid-trip and the route bends through it.

ANCHOR WATCH
Drop the pin, set your swing radius, and the ring draws itself on the chart. Drift outside it and the alarm fires — even with the screen off.

FLOAT PLANS + LIVE TRACKING
File a float plan to your contacts in one tap. They get your boat, route, and a private live link showing your intended course and actual track — no app needed on their end.

MARINE CONDITIONS
Wind, tides, waves, and water temperature for where you are or anywhere you pick, with departure windows that show the best time to leave.

MAN OVERBOARD & SOS
One tap pins the spot with radio-ready coordinates and a bearing back. Hold-to-SOS opens a position message to your contacts — you review it, you send it.

Answer a few questions and BlueHelm writes your boat's operating guide from what you told it. Then ask your boat by name — it answers from its own guide, with emergency steps cached offline.

BlueHelm is an aid to navigation and situational awareness, not a substitute for proper seamanship, official charts, a VHF radio, or emergency services.

What’s new

The wind map now holds its colours as you zoom - the same water reads the same, wherever you're looking from. Sharper wind bands, with the chart still readable underneath. Shallow-water warnings judge by how soon you'd reach it, not just how far away it is. Press any spot on the chart for its conditions, even water with no name.

Also: a clearer base chart, correct map pin taps, saved trips open to the right trip, and depth soundings settle cleanly when you first open Navigate.
