About this app

Peripatos is an outdoor application for education purposes. It uses geolocation technologies to provide content for the user depending on his/her location.

The Peripatos webpage provides an easy to handle interface for teachers, educators and other content creaters to create their own study materials in the form of guided tours: walking trips or journeys by train or boat.

The text-to-speech software reads the content for the users based on their location putting emphasis on the correct pronunciation of terminologies.
Quizes can be also added to texts.

The result is a geotargeted audio-material which can present the studied subject on-the-spot, within the framework of a walking tour or a trip by public transport.
