About this app

BlueTrack is a point of sale built for hostess bars, karaoke venues and clubs, where guests buy drinks for the staff who look after them. Every drink bought for a host is named to that host as it is rung, and BlueTrack works out what each person has earned by the end of the night.

NAME EVERY DRINK AS IT IS RUNG
• Tap a host's face above the menu, then tap the drinks. Each line carries that host's name.
• Items that must be named cannot reach a sale without one. BlueTrack asks "Who is it for?" before the charge.
• The sale panel totals what each person earned on that sale, beside the subtotal, service charge and VAT.

TABS FOR EVERY ROOM, SEAT AND TAKEAWAY
• Open a tab on a room, a bar seat or a takeaway slot, or ring a counter sale with no table.
• See every open tab with its guests, its total and the faces it was bought for.
• Move lines between tabs, merge two tabs, or rename one.

TAKE PAYMENT AND ISSUE THE RECEIPT
• Record cash, card and PromptPay payments, or split one sale across several ways to pay.
• Quick tendered amounts and the change due for cash.
• Print the receipt or send it, with a QR code for the digital copy.

PAY STAFF BY RULES YOU WRITE
• Commission, bonuses and a person's own rate are all pay rules, each read back as a plain sentence such as "Every attributed drink pays ฿60".
• A rule can pay on top of another rule or instead of it, and settle from the drawer or on payroll.
• The Commission page shows what tonight owes each person, broken into the rules that produced it, with owed, paid and still to pay.
• Pay staff from the drawer during the shift and print a payout sheet.

EVERY CASH MOVE ON RECORD
• The Cash screen holds every cash job on an open shift: take cash out, put cash in, pay staff now and record a count.
• Cash cannot come out without a photo of its receipt, and every move lists who made it and when.

CLOSE THE SHIFT WITH A BLIND COUNT
• Close from the floor, step by step: open tabs, cash held, paying the staff, then counting the drawer.
• The count is blind. A match closes the shift; a mismatch asks what happened and records the reason.
• Shift & drawer in the office answers four questions for any shift: is the cash right, what did we take and how, what came off and who approved it, and where did the cash go.

CONTROL WHAT COMES OFF A BILL
• Void, comp or discount a line with a reason, and refund a receipt line by line.
• When the person doing it may not approve it alone, a manager approves with their face and PIN.

RUN THE BACK OF HOUSE
• Stock levels with par and minimum for every item, and a delivery received against its bill photo.
• A week of nights at a glance, sales, commission, voids and comps, and cash movements.
• Items, add-ons, tables, devices, printers, payment methods, people and roles.

BUILT FOR A BUSY FLOOR
• Staff unlock a shared device by tapping their face and entering their PIN. What each person can do follows from their role.
• One login can reach several venues, and a device can move between them.
• Works on tablets and phones, in English and Thai.

BlueTrack needs a BlueTrack account for your venue and an internet connection to the BlueTrack server.

What’s new

• On a phone, an item sold in sizes asks which size before it is rung, so it is never billed at the cheapest.
• Adding a person, venue, role or group is back on the phone's office pages.
• Tapping the rail or dock entry you are already in goes back to its first section.
• A venue's night is read afresh each time the office page is opened.
• A fixed cost is filed under a real category, and one without reads No category.
