BMS Monitor connects over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to the BMS in your lithium battery and shows, live, charge, voltage, current, power, temperature and alarms. It reads 41 tested BMS protocols and 7 more that may be compatible.

The app reads them by their protocol, but they have not been tested with the device and some models may not work. Victron and 123\SmartBMS ask for a key (encryption key or 4-digit PIN): the app asks once and keeps it only on your phone. It does not read closed systems that only talk to their cloud or app, nor every model of every brand.

DIRECT WI-FI MODE (FREE)
Reads your device over your home Wi-Fi, without Bluetooth; it only reads, never writes, and needs no internet. Tap Add > Wi-Fi, type the IP and port (or "Search my network") and connect. It reads a Victron GX (turn on "Modbus TCP") and a JBD / Xiaoxiang / Overkill BMS through a serial-to-Wi-Fi gateway on its UART port. The rest stays on Bluetooth.

• State of charge, pack voltage, current and power in watts
• Hours of runtime and kWh left, today's peaks and capacity in Ah
• Low or unbalanced cells flagged
• Average temperature and each sensor's reading
• Protection: MOSFETs, cells being balanced and active alarms
• Station mode and remote mode

WITH PRO
• Charts of input power, sun hours and energy charged and discharged, by day, week, month or year
• Cells (voltage and level of each), cycles and real health
• Savings: the money the sun saves you, with your kWh price (in Settings)
• No ads, except the station-mode banner

Charts only fill in while the app is connected to your system: for complete charts, keep a stable connection or use station/remote mode.

PERMISSIONS
Bluetooth, to talk to the BMS. Android also requires the location permission to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices; the app doesn't read or store your location.

YOUR DATA
No account or email. Readings and history stay on your phone; they only leave it if you turn on station mode, on Google Firebase under a random code.

ADS
The free version shows a bottom banner, an occasional full-screen ad on opening and, to open charts or cells without Pro, a rewarded ad you choose to watch, each time. With Pro there are no ads, except the station-mode banner. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, consent is asked first, and you can change your choice in Settings → Ad privacy.

SUBSCRIPTION
BMS Monitor Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription (the app shows the price in your country before you pay). It renews automatically and you manage and cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
