About this app

Advanced Car Eye 2.0 comprises two full-HD premium wide-angle cameras (front and rear windscreen cams) for your vehicle. Using proximity (radar) and vibration sensors (G sensors), it captures and records critical situations while driving and parking to use as evidence if necessary.

Advanced Car Eye 2.0 is the monitor and control panel for your cameras. You can watch and download recorded videos and images and make manual recordings.

All settings can also be adjusted using the Advanced Car Eye 2.0 app:
- Operating modes
- Recording criteria
- Video / image data

I'm somewhat tech savvy but for $500 for the camera and $200 for professional install you'd think this app would be self explanatory. It is NOT. I've gone back and forth with the support team several times for information to the point where they told me NOT to update to the available software (involves airplane mode) because that software may damage the camera. Maybe my BMW dealership can help but it shouldn't come to that for $700. The camera has been useless ever since install. Unbelievable.

This came with the car from dealer directly. However it is really the worst piece of software I have used. I had to sit inside the car to view the videos when then wifi connection was never stable. There is also non continuous recording, if i want to manually record something it only starts 10 seconds prior to i press the button. Then what is the purpose of having this thing on at all??? Video viewing is extremely slow under the self wifi environment. Pain. Total rubbish App! Avoid at all cost!

Wow, look at all these negative reviews and sadly I agree with all of them. Totally disappointed, after having the camera in my car field a year now realising it's never been set up properly and it was installed by a BMW technician. The camera only records occasionally and only short clips. Nothing in the parking folder and nothing in the rear camera folder. Cant connect to my wifi either. Its all a complete load of tosh. BMW seem to have gone really downhill over the years. overpriced!!
