About this app

SMS Forwarder helps you keep incoming Android SMS available where you need
them: chat apps, your own API endpoint, or an email inbox.

◆ Built-in Destination Presets
Includes guided configuration for Telegram, Discord, Feishu, DingTalk,
WeCom and Slack. Enter the credentials or webhook URL provided by
the destination service; availability depends on that service.
Every platform includes a built-in step-by-step guide.

◆ Custom API (HTTP / HTTPS)
Forward SMS events to an HTTP or HTTPS endpoint you configure.
Supports GET, POST, PUT and PATCH with custom headers and a
body template using placeholders: {{sender}} {{body}} {{date}}.

◆ Email (SMTP)
Send SMS content to recipient addresses through an SMTP account you configure.
Supports SSL / TLS and multiple recipients per config.

◆ Sender & Content Filters
Forward only SMS from specific numbers or containing certain
keywords. Leave filters blank to include all SMS.

◆ Background Listening
When listening is enabled, the app uses an Android foreground service
with an ongoing notification. Android or device power settings may
affect background operation.

◆ Forwarding Logs
View the success or failure status of every forwarding task.
Retry supported failed items and delete saved records individually.

◆ View Selected Records on a Computer
Optionally select saved SMS records and scan a QR code to display them
in the companion web page. Camera access is used only for QR scanning;
selected records are encrypted before transport through an MQTT relay.

◆ Multiple Forwarding Destinations
Add multiple API, chat platform and email destinations.
Enable or disable each one independently at any time.


──── HOW TO USE ──────────────────────────────────────────

1. Grant SMS receive permission so the app can detect incoming messages.

2. Tap "+" to add a forwarding destination:
• Chat Platform — Telegram, Feishu, DingTalk, WeCom, Slack
• Custom API — any HTTP / HTTPS endpoint
• Email — SMTP address

3. Optionally set sender or content filters per target.

4. Turn on listening. New incoming SMS can then be forwarded by your rules.


──── REQUIREMENTS ────────────────────────────────────────

• Android device with SMS capability
• For API: an accessible HTTP / HTTPS endpoint
• For Email: SMTP credentials (e.g. Gmail app password)


Forwarding rules, credentials and logs are stored on your device. SMS content
leaves the device only when the app sends it to a destination you configure,
or when you select records to view on a computer. External services process
data under their own terms and privacy policies.
