About this app

Bohari IMS is the phone half of a back-of-house inventory system for restaurants, bistros and cafés. It is where the work actually happens: the delivery bay, the cold room, the store cupboard at the end of a shift.

Your business signs up on the web. Your administrator creates accounts and decides what each person can do. This app is what your team carries.

WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL
Cold rooms and back stores have no coverage, and that is exactly where stock is counted. Everything you capture is written to the phone first and sent when the network returns. Nothing is held in memory and nothing is lost if the app is closed. Anything the server refuses comes back to you with the reason — a capture is never silently dropped.

RECEIVE WHAT ARRIVES
Book a delivery against the purchase order it belongs to. Record what actually turned up rather than what was ordered, photograph the delivery note, and flag a short or damaged line at the bay instead of arguing about it a week later.

COUNT WHAT IS THERE
Walk a storage location and count it. Counters do not see the expected figure, so a count is a count rather than a confirmation. Submit it, and a manager reviews the variance before it becomes the ledger.

RECORD WHAT IS LOST
Spoiled, broken, spilled, expired, prep error, fridge failure, pests. Written down when it happens, with a photo where your company requires one — not reconstructed from memory at a desk on Friday.

CAPTURE THE MARKET RUN
The cash purchase with no order behind it is the hardest spend to control. Record the vendor, the items and the amount in seconds, photograph the receipt, and let a manager ratify it afterwards.

DECIDE FROM THE FLOOR
Managers approve stock counts, waste notes, market purchases and stock requests from the phone. Every refusal carries a reason, because that reason is the only account the outlet gets.

ASK
The assistant answers from your own records — stock on hand, variance, suppliers and spend — where your company has enabled it.

BUILT FOR KENYAN OPERATIONS
Prices in shillings. Units that match how you actually buy: sacks, crates, trays, tots. VAT treated as the pass-through it is.

SECURITY
Every company's data is isolated from every other. What each person can see and do follows the role their administrator gave them. Sign in with a password, Google or Apple, with optional two-factor and a fingerprint or Face ID lock on the app itself.

Bohari IMS requires an account provided by your employer. It is not a personal inventory app and there is nothing to buy inside it.
