About this app

SkyLog brings flight journaling and country stay-day tracking together in one travel app. Record flights, explore your travel history on maps, and optionally use Footprints to organize the countries and cities you visit.

Flight Journal

• Add flight records manually without a usage limit.
• Enter a flight number and travel date to retrieve available airport, schedule, airline, aircraft, distance, and duration details.
• View routes on a 3D globe and map, and replay selected journeys.
• Search and sort records by year, airline, airport, aircraft, or route.

Footprints & Stay Days

• Footprints is an optional travel-tracking feature that you choose to enable.
• When Footprints is on and you grant location permission, SkyLog collects location data to keep country, sampled-city, and stay-day records updated, including when the app is closed or not in use.
• Background location allows Footprints to continue recording your travel without requiring you to keep the app open.
• Review your history by country, city, list, calendar, and selected period.
• Import a Google Maps Timeline JSON file to add days spent in each country and cities visited to Footprints. Choose a date range and preview the records before importing.
• Set an annual country goal or monitor Schengen-area stay days within the latest 180-day window and your remaining 90-day allowance.
• Home Screen widgets show your current journey, country stay days, or Schengen information.
• Offline location samples may be kept temporarily in the app’s private on-device storage for up to 7 days. They are used to update Footprints when processing becomes available, and older samples are deleted. Raw coordinates are not uploaded to SkyLog’s Firebase cloud.
• You can stop Footprints or revoke location permission at any time.

Schengen calculations are reference information based on your recorded stay days. They do not replace official immigration records or legal or visa advice.

• Customize, save, and share a travel passport card created from your routes and visited countries.
• Explore statistics for flights, distance, flight time, airports, airlines, aircraft, and countries, and earn badges.
• Sign in to sync supported flight, Footprints, passport, and progress data across your devices.
• Revisit each year with Year Recap cards.

• Core flight journaling and Footprints are available without a subscription.
• Free users receive 30 base flight auto-lookups each month.
• Current limits and feature availability are shown in the app.

SkyLog Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription.

• Flight data export in CSV and SkyLog JSON, plus SkyLog JSON import

Monthly or yearly plans are billed to your Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Google Play before the current billing period ends. Uninstalling SkyLog or deleting your SkyLog account does not cancel a subscription.

Flight auto-lookup, maps, and cloud sync require an internet connection. Third-party aviation data may occasionally be unavailable or inaccurate.
