BoltShare is a private file transfer app for sharing videos, photos, documents, archives and project files when email attachments are too small.

Upload a file, create a private link or transfer code, and send it to your recipient. They can download through the web without installing BoltShare or creating an account.

Every transfer automatically expires after 48 hours.

SEND LARGE FILES ONLINE

BoltShare uses direct multipart uploads designed for very large file transfers.

Use BoltShare to:

Recipients do not need to install the Android app. They can open the private link or enter the transfer code on the BoltShare website.

PASSWORD-PROTECTED FILE SHARING

Add password protection when sharing confidential or sensitive files. The recipient must enter the correct password before accessing the download.

48-HOUR AUTOMATIC FILE DELETION

Files expire 48 hours after each transfer is created.

At expiry:

• The download link stops working
• Further downloads are rejected
• The uploaded file is deleted
• The transfer record and related download logs are removed

The sender is informed before sharing that the file will be deleted after 48 hours.

CONTROL EVERY TRANSFER

Depending on the available options, you can:

• Add password protection
• Limit the number of downloads
• Check when the transfer expires
• Delete an active file before expiry
• Copy and resend the private link or transfer code

TRACK FILE DOWNLOADS

Use the BoltShare dashboard to view transfers, expiry details, download counts, status, links and codes. This helps you confirm whether a recipient downloaded a file.
