About this app

BTK Checker is the access control app for Bon Ti Koté, the Guyanese platform that brings together outings, events, and vouchers from local businesses.

It's designed for organizers and partner businesses of Bon Ti Koté. Access is granted with an eight-digit code provided by the organizer; there's no registration required through the app.

AT THE DOOR

• Scan the code on a ticket: the screen displays a green or red code, readable from two meters away, along with the holder's name.

• A ticket that has already been scanned is rejected, along with the time of the first scan.

• Scanned the wrong person? The screen offers a five-minute cancellation period: the ticket reverts to "pending validation" and is scanned again.

• Damaged code, dead phone battery? Search for the name in the list and validate manually.

OFFLINE

The list of expected tickets is saved on the phone. Under a shelter, on a pontoon, or by a secluded cove, the monitoring continues: validations are sent automatically as soon as the network connection is restored. No scans are lost.

WHAT YOU CAN ALSO DO

• Return ordered products with the ticket and know who received them.

• Sign in for free registrations, including families.

• Validate vouchers and coupons at partner businesses, and verify Club membership cards.

• Check multi-session passes: one entry per date, never the same entry twice.

• Track entries live and read the end-of-session report: how many people came, and at what time.

PRIVACY

The camera is only used to read QR codes: no images are recorded or transmitted. The saved list is deleted upon logout. The application does not contain any advertising trackers.
