About this app

Check the validity of your contactless HSL Travel Card or single ticket with this application.

New version also can read new Travel Card.

The application shows valid period products, remaining value, latest value ticket and last journeys form your Travel Card by touching the card with your NFC mobile phone. You may also name your travel cards to easily distinguish your family's travel cards from each other.

The application utilizes NFC for reading the Travel Cards and can read only HSL's cards (Helsinki Regional Transport). Please ensure that your phone's NFC-feature is turned on from phone settings.

Ratings and reviews

Would be great to be able to disable the automatic NFC reading, so that I can carry the travel card in the phone pocket without the app popping up every time the phone is unlocked. (No, I don't want to disable NFC on the phone, I use it to pay much more often than I need this app.)

HSL (Helsinki Area public transport provider) has started to roll out a new generation of travel card and this app cannot read new (blue) ones. With old (green) cards the app works like a charm. Still, it should remember named cards from online services if logged in.

The app keeps opening all by itself over and over again, many times a day, for the past 3 days, which is very annoying!!! If that bug won't get fixed, I'll uninstall it.
