BookFusion Voice is a neural text-to-speech engine that brings natural-sounding AI voices to your Android device. Once downloaded, voices run completely offline — your text never leaves your device.

Choose from two voice families:

SUPERTONIC — 10 expressive, premium-quality voices, each able to speak 31 languages from a single download. One shared multilingual model, so you can switch voice or language instantly without downloading anything else.

PIPER — a huge catalog of 150+ voices across 40+ languages, each available in low, medium, or high quality so you can balance naturalness against speed for your device.

Every voice you download is automatically tested on your device, so you can see how fast it runs and get a heads-up when a voice is too demanding for smooth, gap-free playback — before you rely on it.

2. Preview any voice with a native-language test sentence
3. Download the voices you like


If you use BookFusion, you're done — it detects installed voices automatically, no configuration needed. For other apps, go to Android Settings > Text-to-Speech and select BookFusion Voice as your preferred engine.

PRIVACY

All speech synthesis happens locally on your device. Your text is never sent to any server. The app only connects to the internet to fetch the voice catalog and download voice files.

What’s new

• Users can now set a default voice to be used in BookFusion Voice which will be used system wide when selected as the TTS engine. Choose which downloaded voice other apps use for each language.

• Fixed the Play button and language selection in Android’s Text-to-Speech settings. Sample playback now continues working after leaving and returning to the screen.

• Improved support for multilingual Supertonic voices.
