I'm looking for the ability to send a quick email to a fixed email address with as few of clicks as possible. Boomerang is close to this goal. What I would love to see is for an option in the app than when launched to automatically turn on dictation or Google voice typing. Then I could launch the app and just start talking, which gets converted to text in the message field. Then just hit send. Alternatively, have the app automatically hit send after a set period of time (10-20 seconds).

I came upon this app out of necessity. Until a few days ago, I used an IFTTT applet for a similar function, but it stopped working all of a sudden. Found Boomerang, and it is exactly what I need! I like that the developer is active on it, which makes me feel better about its longevity. One thing I actually like more than my IFTTT applet is that, with IFTTT, if I tried to send a note when not connected to wifi/data, it would try to send (causing the note to disappear), and then give me an error. Boomerang, however, will notify of the network error while still keeping the note on screen. This means I no longer have to select/copy every one of my notes before clicking send, just in case of a connection issue. I can wait to copy once notified of any issue. Though it somehow saving the note and sending it automatically once connection is established would actually be a better solution, I understand that would more be the function of a email program, not just a note taking app. The last suggestion I would have would be what I saw another reviewer suggestion--the ability to enter smtb info to avoid any third-party servers. I'm *not* suggesting the developer is doing anything nefarious. But it's always better to err on the side of caution. That said, not only would I gladly pay a few bucks for an app that has the features I described above, I would also pay for it in its current state. It is definitely a huge time saver for me compared to what I used to do. Thanks, dev! :-)

I keep coming back to this app. I don't like the feel of it. I wish the font was larger, design was slicker. However, it gets the job done. It's always reliable. A follower of the GTD method, all I need is a tool that quickly captures my thoughts by sending them to my email inbox, which I always check. This app does just that. I use it around 30 times everyday. Works perfectly.
