BorderAI helps travelers check informational border wait-time estimates and follow supported border crossing routes. BorderAI uses publicly available information from the internet, along with app-generated crossing observations submitted from the mobile app when users enable GPS measurement. GPS measurement uses foreground location with a persistent notification after the user grants location permission. These observations help detect entry and exit near supported border zones and improve wait-time estimates over time.
