About this app
Begena, also called David's Harp, is a 10 stringed instrument that's used by the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church for religious occasions. It has a unique and calming voice and is thought to be given from God to King David. This app aims to introduce Begena's parts with their symbolic meaning, the 'kignit" or scales, training religious songs and their poems. We have also included a tuning functionality that helps to better understand the pitches along with the scales. Please feel free to give us feed-backs. Thank you.
