Bosbot Metdik makes it easier to estimate the volume and growth of trees and stands.
Bosbot Metdik calculates the trunk volume of a tree based on the tree content functions of E.J. Fat (1996). Also called the 'Thick Method'. Hence the name 'met dik' and the app also offers first aid for wood measuring. The spindle wood volume and the working wood volume can be determined using the tree species, the diameter at 1.30 meters from the base of the trunk and the tree height. The stand volume and additional growth can then also be estimated.
