Bosco Mio is the digital diary for those who love hunting mushrooms and truffles, exploring the woods, and organizing memories and information from their outings.

PLACES AND POINTS OF INTEREST

Save your favorite places and add coordinates, descriptions, photographs, and private notes. Organize your find locations and easily locate them on the map.

EXCURSIONS AND FINDINGS

Record your excursions and document each find by associating species, quantities, notes, and images. Over time, you can reconstruct the history of your outings and consult all the information already saved.

GPS ROUTES

Record your excursion routes and view distance, duration, and progress. Your location is used only when necessary for the requested functions and in accordance with the permissions granted on the device.

MUSHROOMS AND TRUFFLES

Create your personal species archive. Search for mushrooms and truffles by common or scientific name and connect the species to the locations and recorded finds.

WEATHER AND POTENTIAL FOR THE SEASON

View weather information for your locations and use the app's indicators to help you plan your outings. These estimates are indicative and do not guarantee the presence of mushrooms or truffles.

REGIONAL REGULATIONS

View information on mushroom and truffle gathering by region, including periods, limits, times, permits, prohibitions, and links to available official sources.

Before starting your foraging, always check for any updates, local ordinances, temporary restrictions, and regulations from the relevant authorities.

PERMITS AND EXPIRATIONS

Register permits, permits, and their expiration dates. Organize useful information and activate local reminders to remind you of renewals and compliance requirements.

VOICE NOTES, PHOTOS, AND BACKUPS

Enrich your outings with photographs and voice notes. When available and activated by the user, transcription can convert a recording into text.

Export a full backup and store it in your cloud storage, subject to the available features.

PRIVACY AND CONTROL

Bosco Mio does not require an account. Diary data is stored primarily on the device, except for user-requested operations, such as using external services, transcription, exporting, or cloud backup.

Access to the app can optionally be protected using authentication configured on the device.

The free version allows you to try the main features with some limitations.

Bosco Mio Pro is available through a single, non-consumable in-app purchase and permanently unlocks the available advanced features, without a subscription. Purchases can be restored using your Google Play account.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS

Bosco Mio is an organizational and informational tool. It does not replace the advice of mycologists, health authorities, regional bodies, or other qualified professionals.

Never consume a mushroom based solely on photographs, names, profiles, or information in the app. When in doubt, always consult a mycological inspectorate or other competent body.

When hiking, respect private property, protected areas, the environment, local regulations, and safety conditions. Do not use your phone while walking in dangerous situations, and do not rely on the app as your sole orientation or emergency tool.

With Bosco Mio, you can organize locations, outings, species, finds, weather, and regulations in a single personal space, building your own forest diary over time.
