About this app

Experts use a variety of features to identify lizards, including scale numbers, pattern, color, and scale arrangement. Because subtle differences are important, try and take quality photos to show these features.

How to take photos for lizard identification
1. Take photos that are in focus and in high resolution.
2. Take photos that show the important features for identifying skinks and geckos.
3. Take close-up photos to show the detail of scales and scale patterns.
4. If possible take the photo with natural diffused light.
5. Take multiple photos if there is any doubt.

It has a very limited selection of lizard species, though with what it does have it's fairly close. There's also just way too many ads.

Was very inaccurate every time I tried using it. It couldnt identify a curly tailed lizard and it thought was a blue tailed skink.

Gets general species nothing specific. Google does it for free also and gets specific species. And this has a ton of ads
