About this app

MicroImage is a mobile application designed to obtain linear measurements such as length and width, area and perimeter measurements directly on previously calibrated images. The application allows you to take photos using your cell phone camera to obtain images directly on the microscope, stereomicroscope or other appropriate equipment. The application also allows you to upload photos stored on your cell phone. To obtain measurements, all images must be previously calibrated using a reference scale in the units meter (m) and/or micrometer (µm). Calibrated images can be saved in folders for later use. Calibrated images can be exported or shared in JPEG format using cloud upload, email or messaging (WhatsApp) services. The information or measurements obtained through the application can be named and organized in tables, which can be saved and exported in PDF format.
