About this app

InkNotes is a handwriting notebook for Android tablets and stylus pens. Write, sketch and annotate the way you would on paper, and keep everything organised in notebooks.

WRITE NATURALLY
- Pen, pencil, ink pen, brush and highlighter with pressure-sensitive strokes
- Palm rejection: rest your hand on the screen while you write
- Save your favourite pens for one-tap switching
- Hold the pen still at the end of a stroke to turn it into a clean line, arrow, rectangle or ellipse
- Zoom writing box for neat small handwriting
- Ruler, precise or whole-stroke eraser, and a laser pointer for presenting

ORGANISE
- Notebooks with covers and categories
- Lined, grid, dotted and custom page templates, endless pages and two-page view
- Lasso to select, move, resize, rotate, recolour or copy your writing
- Text boxes, pictures, page titles, bookmarks and links between pages
- Search your handwriting and the text of imported PDFs

PDF AND EXPORT
- Import PDFs and write on them
- Export notebooks as PDF, images or a web page, or share a single notebook file
- Replay how a page was written, and save it as a video or GIF

TEXT EDITOR
- A built-in editor for plain text and code files, with syntax highlighting, find and replace, and line tools

BACKUP TO YOUR OWN GOOGLE DRIVE
- Optional daily backup of all notebooks, text files and settings
- Backups are encrypted on your device with your own password before they leave it
- Restore everything on a new device

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Your notebooks stay on your device. No ads, no account needed.
- InkNotes only sees the backup files it creates in your Drive.
