About this app

Record it once. Get the transcript, the summary and the notes.

Braindump is an AI note taker that records, transcribes and summarizes for you. Capture meetings, lectures and voice notes, or import audio, and get speech to text, AI summaries and organized notes in seconds.

Stay in the conversation. Your notes write themselves.

RECORD AND TRANSCRIBE AUDIO TO TEXT
Tap once to record a meeting, a class or a quick voice memo. Pause and resume whenever you need, then get a clean, readable transcription.

AI SUMMARIES IN SECONDS
Skip the full transcript and read the key points. Summarize any note with formats made for meetings and lectures.

MEETING NOTES WITH SPEAKER LABELS
Record a meeting and see who said what, with the action items listed for you.

TRANSCRIBE AUDIO FILES AND YOUTUBE LINKS
Import voice memos, calls and lecture recordings (mp3, m4a, wav and more), share audio from other apps, or paste a YouTube link to get the full transcript.

ASK AI ABOUT YOUR NOTES
Chat with one note or all of them: "What did we decide about the budget?" AI search finds notes by meaning, not just keywords.

NOTES THAT ORGANIZE THEMSELVES
Every note is filed into the right group automatically. No folders to manage.

TO-DOS AND REMINDERS
Pull the tasks out of any note as a to-do list. Mention a time and the reminder is set for you.

REWRITE AND TRANSLATE
Turn voice notes into an email, a message, a post or meeting minutes. Fix the grammar or translate a note into another language.

CAPTURE FROM ANYWHERE
Start a note from the home screen widget, the Quick Settings tile or a long press on the app icon. Pin an important note to your notifications.

EXPORT AND SHARE
Share notes as text, export them to PDF or Markdown, and sync your notes across your devices.

Ratings and reviews

Their email isn’t working. The app isn’t up to date. It requires a subscription just to try it for the first time. How am I supposed to know if this app is worth paying for?

I submitted to the 3 day free trial, went through the card security check with my bank, and if I liked it within those 3 days, I was going to sign up for the year. Unfortunately, I never even got to try it, after the check card and bank and confirmation, it literally did nothing useful at all, it went back to the beginning of the app like it was the first time I'd clicked on it, walked me through everything again and ask to try for 3 days, but wouldn't let me press continue, it just crashed. 🙁

I will change once I actually use it the idea is solid though just haven't used it yet
