Matchy Maps makes it fun and easy to import walking maps into your phone!

Simply take a photograph of your paper map and align it with our digital map. You'll then be able to see your location on the paper map as you walk around.

Following complicated walking routes becomes simple!

Take pictures of map boards at the entrances to parks, zoos and theme parks and find your way around all the best routes and attractions by just glancing at your phone.

I am committed to making ethical software, so Matchy Maps doesn't contain any advertising, it doesn't require a subscription and it doesn't share your data with anyone. Just a small one-off payment and it's yours for life!

Tips:
* For best alignment, make sure the phone is as parallel to the map as possible when taking pictures
* Always make sure you have a back-up map with you when walking anywhere dangerous/unfamiliar
* You can now also import maps from images and PDFs on the web!

What’s new

* New base maps - Tap the settings button in the top right and you'll be able to select between the current style, a high contrast dark style, a terrain style and satellite imagery
* Share maps - You can now share aligned maps with your friends! Tap the map you want to share on the 'Manage' page and select the 'Share Map' option
* Export all maps - You can now export your whole collection for moving to another device, or to keep as a backup. Tap the archive button at the top of the 'Manage' page
