Forknote is a decision journal for recording moments when two or more realistic options were possible. Save the choice you made, note the alternatives you did not choose, and return later to record how you view that decision over time.

Browse recorded decisions and filter them by status, date, or review history. Each decision keeps its original entry while later reviews are added separately, creating a visible timeline of how your perspective develops.

Forknote also lets you:

Add later reviews and mark your current view of a decision.
See decisions that have not yet been reviewed.
Write separate asides about observations, patterns, assumptions, or lessons related to choosing.
Search and filter saved asides.
View an overview of recent decisions, completed reviews, and items still awaiting a later look.
Use the Arc section to see review progress, monthly activity, and the current distribution of your recorded views.

Forknote focuses on preserving both the original choice and your later perspective, so you can look back at how individual decisions were understood at different points in time.
