Here I am in my hotel, with my shiny new speaker. I will absolutely not connect it to the hotel Wi-Fi. But guess what ... the stupid app seems to REQUIRE a Wi-Fi connection to complete the setup. Why?!? Bluetooth pairing worked fine, and I can play music (which does sound amazing). But I cannot (seem) to do any setup or configuration because of the Wi-Fi requirement. I also worry about the private VPN I prefer to run 100% of the time on any Wi-Fi connection I use on my phone.

Would be nice if the equalizer had configurable profiles, as opposed to having to edit the same one every time you use it. At the very least, each slider should have a numerical marker. It should also be possible to have the app work via Bluetooth, rather than the mandatory wi-fi connection.

Decent and gets the job done. Connection to the speaker through the app can be iffy sometimes, like if you switch apps and return it need to reload the speaker (connection doesn't persist in the background). Devs are very receptive to feedback so hoping to see these minor issues resolved in future updates. Pro tip: Tap - and + on the speaker together to get a battery read out, so you don't need the app. (this seems to be left out from the manual for some reason)
