About this app

Sohl locks the apps that eat your time, like Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and helps you earn that time back by doing real things.

HOW IT WORKS
• Pick the apps to lock. When one opens, Sohl steps in first with your own reason and a short breathing pause.
• Earn minutes by doing real things: homework, chores, time outside. Tap a task when it's done, and your Keyholder approves it.
• Spend minutes to unlock. 15 minutes buys 15 minutes in a locked app. When the time's up, it locks again.
• Watch your tree grow. It grows every day you stay with Sohl. It never shrinks, and it never dies on a bad day.

THE KEYHOLDER
Someone else holds a 4-digit PIN: a parent, a friend or a partner. That way the rules can't be switched off in a weak moment.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything stays on your phone. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Sohl never reads your messages, takes screenshots or tracks your location.

PERMISSIONS
Sohl uses Usage access to see which app is open, and "display over other apps" to show its reminder screen. Nothing else.

Sohl Pro is an optional subscription sold through Google Play.
