I hope there's a way to use Briiv without the app because as of this morning I can't log in any more and my Briivs all lock up after a few minutes when I restart them. If I turn them on while responsive, they'll stay on, but they then can't be turned off without a power cycle. This app has never been good but now it's unusable. Before I'd say it was a polished turd. Now it's just a dessicated turd.

The app doesn't work. It's impossible to connect the device to your wifi network. The exact same happens as Emily describes below: you add the device, then tap on it, and nothing happens. I am absolutely baffled of how this app ever passed quality control. It's a proof-of-concept, nothing else. This device costs more than £300 and many of features are completely unusable! I am contemplating just returning the whole thing.

It connects and does what it should, but only for a very briiv time, then my unit just doesn't react. Likewise, the buttons on the filter itself seize working until I plug it out and back in again. Also, and I have no idea why I would need an account for this, the 'remember me' is also working for only a very briiv amount of time and I have to enter my credentials in order to attempt to turn down my filter, which isn't working most of the time.
