Some things are great: - the idea is superb, to control lightbulbs with an app - great: you can add a device to the home screen - good: you can set up a "scene", but this is where it falls down: Once i've set the lights how i like, i need a function to "save this scene". The way the app is now, "making a scene" doesn't work. You can only set it to "colour mode", you can't choose colour, brightness, or contrast etc. Defeats the purpose completely. (i have a 2 bulb light fitting so it's extra)

The app and lights were fine for months, but the app now contains an ad for other lighting products that pops up every time I open it. The ad is on a countdown timer, preventing access to the lighting controls until it is finished. Invasive, annoying and really negates the convenience of having a wifi product...because it's now faster to get up and turn on the switch at the wall.

We are very sorry to hear of this inconvenience. Please note you can tap the SKIP button immediately to exit the ad when it gives a 3 second countdown. These globes are super amazing for the first couple of months or so- until the novelty wears off and they disconnect from the WiFi... They just flash constantly and then you have to go through the process of connecting to the WiFi again!! This has happened about 3 times the past couple of months for me and I've had to use lamps until I have time to fix it!🤦♀️ It is cool having the ability to change colours and sequences! But not sure if it's worth it, reconnecting all of the time.
