About this app

Vrat Sathi — Hindu Calendar, Vrat & Festival Reminders

Vrat Sathi is a simple, respectful Hindu calendar app made for Indian families.
who observe Ekadashi vrat, Purnima, Amavasya and the major festivals of the
Sanatan calendar. Built offline-first, ad-free, and senior-friendly — install
once, use for years, no internet required.

what you get

• Aaj — Today's Panchang Dashboard. Open the app and see today's tithi,
sunrise and sunset times, the day's vrat or festival (if any), and the
Next upcoming Ekadashi at a glance.

• Vrat Calendar. A clean monthly grid for 2026 and 2027 with every Ekadashi,
Pradosh, Purnima, Amavasya, and major festivals highlighted in saffron.
Tap any date for full details in Hindi and English.

• Sankalp Reminders. Get a respectful local notification the evening before
each Ekadashi so you can take sankalp on time, plus a morning reminder for
Paaraan. Reminders work fully offline — no Google account, no server, no
data collection.

Designed for Indian families

• Hindi-first, bilingual everywhere — switch between Hindi, English, or both
with one tap. Devanagari rendering tuned for clarity.

• Senior-friendly large text — minimum 18sp body text, high-contrast saffron
and navy color palette, 48dp touch targets, 200% text-scale support.
WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.

• Truly offline. All vrat dates, festival dates and sunrise calculations
are stored in the app. No SIM, no Wi-Fi, no problem.

• Zero ads. Zero tracking. Zero login. We do not collect any personal data,
contacts, or location. Nothing leaves your phone.
