Broken Crimp helps you build and play back a climbing beta. Whether you boulder, sport climb, or climb trad, map your sequence of moves to prepare for your project.

Map the climb.
* Add a wall photo to use as your canvas, or start from a blank one.
* Place holds to trace the climb, or map your moves straight onto the photo.
* Choose from a catalogue of hold types, including crimps, jugs, slopers, and pinches.
* Add protection, such as bolts and cams.

Build the beta.
A beta is your sequence of moves. You can map your beta move by move:
* Assign specific limbs to holds.
* Select climbing techniques, like a dyno, mantle, or heel hook.
* Create multiple betas for a single climb to explore variations.

Organize media and notes.
* Keep all details about a climb in one place.
* Add close-up photos and voice notes to individual holds.
* Attach videos, web links, and written notes about the approach or conditions.

Review and share.
* Play back your beta step-by-step before jumping on your project.
* Export a video or a PDF move-by-move guide.
* Share a `.beta` file so friends can import the whole climb into their app.
