I appreciate that the folks at Broodminder are constantly working to improve our ability to monitor honeybees using their sensors, hubs, and apps. Overall, they are doing a great job. Broodminder Bees is not one their improvements. I like that I can see data as it is processed and that I can see the sensors grouped together in their hive, but those are the only things that I see to be better than Broodminder Apiary. With Broodminder Apiary, I can stand in the center of my hives and “grab” the data from all sensors almost 100% of the time. With Broodminder Bees, it is necessary to stand within three or four feet of each hive to collect the data one hive at a time. Even with that, on a good day, only 80% to 90% of the sensors are collected. On a bad day, like yesterday, Broodminder Bees only reads about 20% of the sensors. It is necessary with each use of Broodminder Bees to follow up with Broodminder Apiary to collect data from the sensors that Broodminder Bees misses. Different sensors are missed each time. So, it is not a problem with sensors. Tech support suggested that my phone might be the problem, but since Broodminder Apiary works well with my phone, I doubt my phone is the problem. After two weeks trying to use Broodminder Bees, I’m going back to only using Broodminder Apiary and hoping Broodminder does not discontinue Broodminder Apiary in favor of their new app. Broodminder Bees is a free app. So, try it. You may have better success than I have had.

Will not connect to the sensor at all for some reason and can't get it to do so no matter what I try, where the old Broodminder Apiary app will do so instantly so I'm still using that one even with the nag popup to use this one instead.
