About this app

The Remote Advanced Playback Unit (RAPU) v6.0 for Android enables VSA routine playback on your Android device. The RAPU is a plug-and-go replacement for the PC and VSA. Take routines and animations perfected on the PC with VSA, upload them to your Android device, and breathe new realism into the show. The RAPU is the most accurate and advanced solution for production and show control with audio.

The RAPU v6.0 for Android can control up to 64 devices by directly connecting a USB LynxMotion SSC32U, Pololu Maestro Micro/Mini 12/18/24, or ENTTEC DMX to your Android device's USB or USB-OTG port. Or, connect an FTDI-compatible USB-to-serial converter and control legacy serial devices such as MiniSSC-compatible servos.

The RAPU v6.0 for Android supports Android 9 (API level 28) and later. The Google Pixel 5, HardKernel ODROID-N2+, BLU C5 Max, and Motorola moto g Pure are just a few of the devices that can now power your shows with the RAPU.

The RAPU v6.0 for Android is fully supported in VSA v6.0 . The audio and device data are stored in a .rapu6 file on your Android's internal memory. Identical to VSA playback, the RAPU plays audio synchronized with the servo, relay, dimmer, etc. commands.
