Jadecairn is mahjong solitaire built for people who actually want to see the tiles.
TWO WAYS TO PLAY
Classic is the mahjong you already know. Match free pairs, clear the board, and the run ends when nothing is left to match. No levels, no pressure, just the board.
Bench mode is the main game, and it plays by a newer rule set. You have four slots. Tap a tile and it moves to the bench; when a pair meets there, it clears. Fill all four with tiles that do not match and the run is over. It is faster, tighter, and a completely different kind of pressure. Work your way up a path of hand-built boards that get harder as you go.
Both come with a Daily board — one board a day, the same one for everyone, with a streak to keep — and Zen, which is endless and has nothing to lose.
BUILT TO BE READ
This is the part every other mahjong game gets wrong.
Big tiles. Every suit tile carries a plain number in the corner, so you never have to squint at a character you do not recognise. The pips are drawn to be counted at a glance — nine circles read as nine without you counting them. No timer unless you ask for one. Generous tap targets, and no dragging — every move in the game is a tap.
UNDO WHENEVER YOU NEED IT
Undo, hints and shuffles are earned by playing and handed out generously - you are not rationed two per board, and you are never made to watch something to take a move back. They are how you think about a board, not something to charge you for.
EVERY BOARD CAN BE FINISHED
Boards are built backwards from a solved state, so a winnable solution always exists. If you do get stuck, a shuffle re-deals what is left — and it checks that the new arrangement can still be finished before handing it to you. A shuffle that gives you a dead board is worse than no shuffle at all.
FEWER ADS, AND WE MEAN IT
No banner on the menus. No ad when you open the app. Never a forced ad when you run out of moves, which is the moment you least deserve one. When an ad does appear between boards, watching a reward ad on that board skips it — so the ad load is yours to control, not ours to decide.
Get stuck and you can watch an ad to carry on, or spend one of the retry tokens the game hands out for free. You can finish every board in this game without ever watching an ad.
NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-IN
Leaderboards are optional and you can turn them off in Settings.

Every one is hand-checked before it ships: the tiles sit legally, the board can be finished, and no arrangement made it in that we would not want to play.
Free to play. Remove Ads is available if you want it, and it removes the intrusive ads while leaving the optional reward ads for anyone who still wants them.
