ArcShift is a spatial reasoning puzzle game that challenges you to connect paths by rotating grid cells. Each puzzle presents a grid of interconnected cells with curved tracks, and your goal is to rotate individual cells to form a continuous path from the entry point to the exit point within a limited number of moves.
CORE GAMEPLAY
- Rotate grid cells 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise to align track segments
- Each rotation consumes one move, adding strategic weight to every decision
- Form a complete path from the top-left entry to the bottom-right exit to solve the puzzle
- Run out of moves before completing the path, and the puzzle is lost
LEVEL PROGRESSION
- Start with 3x3 grids and 6 moves, gradually advancing to 4x4 and 5x5 grids
- Twelve handcrafted tutorial levels introduce new track types including straight lines, L-bends, Z-curves, and cross intersections
- Beyond level 12, procedurally generated puzzles provide endless replayability
- Higher difficulty levels introduce locked cells, direction-restricted cells, and other strategic constraints
SPECIAL FEATURES
- Minimalist mode: Unlock by achieving three consecutive perfect solves, reducing your move budget by one for double score
- Spatial Master badges: Earn bronze, silver, and gold tiers at 50, 200, and 500 total wins
- Path Collection: Discover and collect unique path patterns across 100 collectible entries
- Personal best tracking for every level with move count and completion time records
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
ArcShift embraces a clean, minimalist visual style with subtle grid textures, soft gradient colors, and flowing light effects. The absence of timers or pressure mechanics allows you to think carefully about each move. Designed for short play sessions, each puzzle can be completed in 20 to 30 seconds, making it ideal for commutes, waiting rooms, or quick mental breaks.
