About this app

Parolejo is a free, offline app for learning Esperanto. It is built around the classic Zagreb-method course, Esperanto in 12 Lessons, and without an internet connection.

What you get:
- All 12 lessons, each with the text, grammar notes, and exercises
- Narrator audio for every lesson, with lock-screen and background controls
- Flashcards made from the words taught in the course
- A dictionary of more than 63,000 Esperanto-to-English entries, searchable offline
- Tap any word in a lesson to see what it means
- Grammar tables and appendices for when you need them
- The app's own menus and explanations in over 30 languages

A few things worth knowing:
- It is free. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions.
- No account and no sign-up. There is nothing to create.
- It collects no data. Everything stays on your device, and the app does not go online while you use it.

Parolejo is an unofficial, independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the course authors, esperanto12.net, or UEA. The course (Esperanto in 12 Lessons) is used under Creative Commons licenses (CC BY and CC BY-ND); the ESPDIC dictionary is by Paul Denisowski under CC BY 3.0.
