The old app was worse than the previous one, and this one is worse yet. Calling it "Smart Home" is like calling every dish on the menu "food". Why do I have to select my one device every time I open the app? The "energy usage" screen us dumbed down. Okay, outside temperature is back. I'm not sure when because it was placed *behind* a menu so you have to scroll to see it without any sign it's there.

Lee, while we’re rebuilding the app for better long-term stability, we know we didn’t get all the details right out of the gate. We’re working on bringing back more intuitive controls in the next few updates, and your feedback on the app name and energy usage screen is being shared directly with our design team.

The app had been stable for 6 or 8 months and working and now it is not working again. I assume it's a problem with the server because the wall controller is connected to Wi-Fi. I even disconnected it and reconnected it but it says it cannot contact the server. so the app is not communicating with the server either because the controller on the wall cannot. do you not have monitoring on your servers?

It's okay. I prefer the old app better. The lag. Often unresponsive until I walk over to my thermostat and activate the screen, then suddenly it starts to do what I've been telling it to do in the app. I wish the app would also tell me what the thermostat was saying about notices or warnings that pop up on it. like service is needed. needs an update... etc etc

Thank you for your feedback — we understand the frustration with lag and missed alerts. For service or system notices, you can adjust your notification preferences by going to Zone > Settings > Notification. We’ve also shared your suggestions with our product team as we continue improving the app experience.
