BSES is an electric distribution company operating in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi. To ensure uninterrupted and reliable power supply, all Extra High Voltage (EHV) grid equipment undergoes preventive maintenance. To streamline this process, an Extra High Voltage Online Preventive Maintenance (EHV OPM) module is being developed within the SAP system. This module facilitates the annual preventive maintenance of EHV grid and transmission line equipment, while also enabling efficient tracking and analysis within SAP.
EHV OPM Process Steps:
1.Inspection – The Maintenance Engineer inspects the condition of the equipment, records observations, identifies material requirements, and uploads the relevant details in the system.

Following Equipment are included in EHV OPM
Switchgear, Battery, Battery Charger, Capacitor bank, Current transformer, Distribution transformer, Isolator, Lightning arrestor, Distribution board, Power transformer, Protection, Control and relay panel and Transmission Line.
