Have been using free version for video for months. Plays everything without a problem. Got the "paid" version primarily for the Chromecast support. Chromecast still a bit buggy. Some mkv files don't play and when tablet "sleeps" and turned back on, one has to "stop cast" and re-connect. Still happy with the app, but updates on Chromecast will make it close to perfect for my use.
I have YU yureka smartphone and the problem I'm facing is the subtitle .SMI is not working Why there is no support for .SMI subtitle . that was supported in MX player free version.. I'm using paid version of be player... This is not done. When I click select subtitles it says, load subtitle and then not found. My video and subtitle is saved in phone memory in the same folder
This **was** by FAR the best media player. Not anymore as it will no longer play AC3 audio. Making it useless. Shame.....dont waste the bandwidth. Find something else to play your films etc. Bigger issue is that people have paid for this and now it doesnt work. To add insult to injury the developer is simply ignoring requests for information as to why this has happened.
Doesn't support AC3 for .mkv since the last update. I am very disappointed, I bought this app, it is very good, but it has become useless for me. DON'T BUY IT, they don't respect paying customers :( I switched to VLC because it works properly
