You used to be able to pay once and have the app. They got rid of that. Disabled the service if you had it (me!) and now you have to pay again and again and again... Because everything has to make a buck these days. Then, when you get out to the woods, it'll try to update. If you don't have cell service(like my trip today for example), the app will be completely useless. It will not load past the splash screen. What a waste of time and money.

The amount of times that this app has crashed while we are using it is laughable. It is literally the only app I pay for and it just irritates me. so many little things about it are nonsensical. When you measure things while in a tracked hike, the measurement is obscured by the stop tracking button. I've tried to address this with the Conservancy and they told me to get an Apple phone but it doesn't work well on my girlfriend's iPhone either. It's better than a physical map but not much. K

Thanks for your feedback. We'll work on moving the measurement results so that they are not obscured when users are tracking. This isn't happening on every Android model; we must have missed it on yours. We'd also like to work through the crashes for you. Please contact info@brucetrail.org with as many details as you can about when it happens.

This is a great app! I love being able to track my routes and start where I previously stopped so I don't miss a step of the BT. Missing a star because the report a trail issue function is glitchy, but most of all, I'd love it if I was able to see ALL my tracked hikes on ONE map so I can determine where I haven't been. I'd also love a different color than light orange for the tracked hikes on the map. It's quite hard to see against the red bruce trail. Happy hiking! 😄

Thanks for the review & feedback. Happy to report we're working on an update that will allow you to see all your tracked hikes in one view, and are looking to change the colour of tracked hikes for greater visibility. Please send us a note at info@brucetrail.org to let us know more about what you're finding with the report a trail issue function.
