About this app
Barometer is a vintage aneroid barometer that measures atmospheric pressure.
It features direct reading in milliBar (mBar), mmHg or psi and includes a barometric altimeter for altitude measurements and calculations.
It includes automatic range detection, relative pressure mode, approximate altitude measurement and vertical speed & acceleration calculation to see the speed when you ride an elevator for example.
NOTE: This app benefits from device with a pressure sensor. If the pressure sensor is not present in your device this app will load current measured atmospheric pressure and the next 48 hours trend by your local meteorological station using your location and a weather web service.
Outdoor atmospheric pressure information is provided by the Meteorologisk institutt of Norway NRK weather web service accessible at Yr.no
Optional altitude information that can be enabled in Preferences is provided by Open-Elevation web service accessible at open-elevation.com
