BeamTap fires a laser beam across a six by six grid. Mirror tiles sit on the grid and reflect the beam ninety degrees when it strikes them. Tap any mirror to rotate it and the beam instantly redraws itself following the new path. Your goal on each level is to route the beam so it strikes every target tile on the grid. Some targets are easy to reach with a single mirror rotation. Others require routing the beam around solid wall tiles that block its path, bouncing it through a sequence of mirrors in exactly the right order. The beam redraws in real time with every tap so you can see immediately whether a rotation brings you closer to the solution. Later levels introduce multiple emitters firing beams simultaneously that must all find their targets at the same time. There are ten distinct hand-crafted levels that cycle at increasing difficulty. Fewer mirror rotations to solve each level earns a higher score.
