Dubplate is a music player for your cloud storage.
Connect Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive or a Nextcloud server of your own, and Dubplate lists your music folders, including folders shared with you. Import a folder and it becomes an album in your library. Stream it straight from your cloud, or download it and listen offline.
It is made for the music that streaming does not have: unreleased albums, rough mixes, live recordings, promos, and the records that never made it online. If someone shares a folder with you, it becomes an album you can actually listen to, instead of a list of files.
WHAT YOU GET
Albums, not files. Dubplate reads tags and artwork, works out titles and artists from filenames when tags are missing, and shows real durations and cover art.
Offline listening. Sync an album to your device and play it in airplane mode.
Lock-screen controls. Play, pause and skip from the lock screen, with gapless track changes.
Playlists. Build playlists across albums, reorder them, and rename tracks locally.
Lyrics and notes. Synced lyrics appear as the track plays when a lyrics file sits beside it.
Search. Find albums, artists and tracks across your whole library.
PRIVACY
Dubplate has no backend. There is no Dubplate server between your device and the storage you connect. Your music does not pass through us, and your library is stored only on your device.
Access is read-only. Dubplate never uploads, changes, renames or deletes anything in your storage, and it never asks for permission to. It reads your account name so the app can show which account is connected, lists the folders you choose, and streams or downloads the audio in them.

The first album is free, with every feature included. You can swap that album for a different one as often as you like.
A one-time purchase of $1.99 unlocks unlimited albums. It is not a subscription. Apple devices are purchased separately.
