About this app

BuildWrite teaches kids ages 5 to 8 how to write by hand, one letter and one word at a time. Children trace big friendly letters with their finger, then write them as the guides fade away, then spell whole words from memory. Handwriting practice, phonics review, and spelling all in one calm, kid-safe app.

HOW IT WORKS
Every unit follows the same simple journey:
1. TRACE: Your child traces each letter inside a big guide while a warm teaching voice names the letter and cheers them on.
2. WRITE: The guide fades away until your child writes each letter on their own, from memory.
3. SPELL: Your child sees a picture, hears the word, and taps the letters in order to spell it without help.
Master the unit and earn a sticker for the album. Friendly grading forgives wobbly lines but won't accept a scribble.

A PENCIL PAL WHO CHEERS THEM ON
A friendly purple pencil pops up to jump for every letter they nail and tilts its head to say "try again" on a miss. Soft chimes, never a buzzer. Stars earned in BuildWrite, BuildReading, and BuildMath unlock outfits for the pencil: a ball cap, a bow, sunglasses, a crown. Stars are never spent or taken away.

"HEY GROWN-UP, LOOK WHAT I WROTE!"
When your child masters a unit, one tap opens a proud recap card with their name, the sticker they earned, the words they wrote, and today's date. Made for high fives.
