Meet Phew. Your little friend for a busy day. π
We all scroll without thinking sometimes.
Phew is here to help you pause, take a deep breath, and choose what you really want to do.
Phew helps you:
β’ Pause before scrolling β Phew gently steps in before your distracting apps open.
β’ Take a deep breath β Slow down for just a moment.
β’ Stay in control β You decide whether to open the app or walk away.
β’ Take back your time β Every small pause is a win.
β’ Take a break β Let Phew nap when you don't need a pause.
No blocking.
No guilt.
Just a little friend looking out for you.
Take a breath. Take a moment. Phew.
Phew App needs Accessibility permission)
1. Phew uses Android's AccessibilityService API. This is how Phew works, and it cannot do its job without it.
2. Why Phew needs it: Android only tells an app which app has just been opened through this permission. That is the signal Phew needs to show up at the right moment.
3. What Phew sees: only the name of the app you just opened. Nothing else.
4. What Phew never does: Phew does not read, record, store or share your screen, your messages, your passwords, or anything you type. It is set up so that it cannot read screen content at all.
5. Phew is not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities. It uses this permission for digital wellbeing. Phew explains all of this inside the app and asks you first. You can say no and keep using Phew, and you can switch it off any time in your phone's Settings, under Accessibility
Your little friend who helps you pause and breathe before opening apps.
