Turn this Android phone into a local dashcam.

Roadlock records a rolling loop while you drive and keeps the clips on this phone. When the loop is full, the oldest unlocked clips are overwritten. A hard stop can lock the current clip so it is not deleted. Speed and location can be overlaid when the phone has a GPS fix.

HONEST LIMITS
Roadlock is a phone dashcam. Heat, battery and a windshield mount affect quality. It does not replace a purpose-built dashcam for all-day parking mode. Motion lock is an estimate. It can miss an event or lock a clip that was not a crash. Insurers and courts decide what they accept.
