Finish books but forget them a month later? Recall is an AI tutor that tests whether you actually understood what you read, then helps you remember it.

Most reading apps just show you your highlights again. Recall reads the passages you saved, pulls out the core ideas, and runs a short conversation that asks you to explain them in your own words. The AI reads your answer, tells you what you got and what you missed, and asks a follow-up to push a little deeper. No cards to write. No multiple choice.

Not another highlight app
Readwise shows you what you read. Anki makes you write what you remember. Recall does the writing for you, then listens to your answer.

How it works
1. Import. Bring in highlights from Kindle, PDFs, Readwise, Kobo or Google Play Books, add them as you read with the Chrome extension, or paste them in.
2. Understand. Recall extracts the key concepts and builds a six-minute conversation around three of them, timed for right before you would forget.
3. Remember. Spaced repetition (SM-2) schedules the next review by how well you actually answered, not by a button you tap on yourself. The gaps widen as the idea holds.

- A tutor, not a quiz. Up to five follow-up turns per concept to test real understanding.
- Ask your library. Get answers drawn from every book you have read, each one quoting the exact passage from your own highlights.
